Review by hotel critic
Review of Metro HotelAs a travel writer from Toronto, I recently explored the Metro Hotel with my family of four, seeking a comfortable home base during our vacation. The two-bedroom family room provided ample space for us to unwind, complete with fast internet and a well-equipped kitchen that facilitated our breakfast and dinner preparations. It was incredibly convenient to have Woolies adjacent, allowing us to stock up on essentials. The hotel staff were accommodating, enabling us an early check-in after a long flight. This thoughtful gesture contributed to our seamless experience. The pool was a welcome spot for cooling off, even if it was on the smaller side. We also appreciated the proximity to local attractions, including the Darwin Cup Carnival, which offered a taste of the region's culture and excitement. Free Wi-Fi, a television with a DVD player, and secure parking made our stay all the more enjoyable. The Metro Hotel provided a family-friendly environment, allowing us to reconnect and relax.
